My name is Lukas Somodi. I am a third-year student at MSA. Before coming to the university I studied architecture and civil engineering at a technical high school in Slovakia.
During high school, I have taken part in architectural competitions in which, the success was delivered by reaching awards and being part of honorable mentions, even winning the competition.
Personally, it is exciting how the architecture can find a solution to problems such as ecological issues, lifestyle changes, health importance and also to the environment in every single aspect.
Currently, my aim is to keep developing my knowledge through a university course as well as attending architectural talks and taking part in competitions.
Gaining work experience throughout internship or part-time job is also one of my prime goals.
Apart from architecture, I also like photography and sports such as skiing, cycling, hiking and running by which I can clear my mind and relax.
After completing a Bachelor degree, I would like to start working in an architectural firm for one year. After that, I want to apply for a Master’s Degree in architecture. When I complete this course I would like to find another architectural firm, where I can put to use my improved knowledge in order to become a successful architect.
